Pastefix does not require signup, login, or any personal information. We do not use cookies for tracking beyond what is described below. We do not store your name, email, or any account data.
Content you paste into Pastefix (JSON, errors, regex, etc.) is processed client-side in your browser. Static tool results (formatting, decoding, parsing) never leave your device.
When you click "Explain with AI," your input is sent to a third-party AI service for analysis. This data is not stored on our servers and is subject to the AI provider's data handling policies. We do not log, save, or retain any input you submit.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, referral sources, browser type, and device information. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Since Pastefix does not collect or store personal data, there is nothing to access or delete. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings or opt out of Google's personalized ads as described above. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA.
Since we do not store user data on our servers, there is no data to retain. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies. Browser localStorage data (theme preference) persists until you clear your browser data.
